The name Triphala means “three fruits” which makes sense because this formula is comprised of the three Indian fruits Amla (Emblica officinalis), Behada (Terminalia belerica), and Harada (Terminalia chebula).

No two people have the same fingerprint, right? That’s pretty amazing. What’s even more amazing is that your fingerprint is not the only part of you that is biologically unique. It turns out the bacteria that reside in your gut and are responsible for your health, to a large degree, are as exclusive to you as that fingerprint!
Even if we wanted to, we certainly can’t forget that the next flu season is right around the corner . . . flu shot signs are everywhere! Grocery stores, pharmacies, even the schools are doing their part to promote this vaccine. I don’t know about you, but I just can’t jump on that bandwagon. Don’t get me wrong, I believe in protecting myself from the influenza virus, I just choose to do it in a way that gives me a bit more control over the outcome.
Bacteria get a bad rap. Ironic but true, that statement may hold more validity than ever suspected, despite being written at a time when society uses excessive hygiene in a futile attempt to eliminate all bacteria! We are all scared; scared of the next outbreak; scared of the next microbe strain that may take out civilization.

When I was a kid, I could eat anything and still feel great. My chosen snacks, meals, drinks and desserts did not give me indigestion or acid reflux, they didn’t put me in a bad mood, and they surely didn’t slow me down. Obviously, what I was eating was alright. Or was it? Our overall […]
For those of you who are not familiar with Colloidal Silver, it is a substance made by suspending microscopic particles of silver in liquid. For centuries it has been known to be an incredibly effective natural antibiotic. In addition to its many medicinal uses throughout history, because Colloidal Silver prevents the growth of algae, bacteria and other unwanted organisms, it also has been used as a preservative for water and milk and as the medium for both water and furnace filtration systems.
Nutritional emptiness. That’s what sugar is. Oh it certainly delights the palate and that is one reason to love it or even become addicted to it, but it’s certainly not in your best interest. Especially when you are already dealing with a hormone imbalance. Now the whole point of eating sugar and other carbohydrates is to provide the body with energy. When you feel hungry, your body is signaling that blood sugar has dropped and it’s time to refuel. Today, refined sugar (sucrose) can be the quickest and easiest go-to because it gets into the bloodstream quickly to provide an almost immediate energy boost.
